It’s that time of year again where, as the year comes to a close, attentions turn to the year ahead and the business calendar of Leicester is already getting booked up. Adding to the line-up of events taking place in 2018 is the always anticipated Leicester Mercury Business Awards.
About the awards
Guests, sponsors and finalists will gather at the city’s Maher Centre on Thursday 12 April. The Maher Centre, located in the heart of the bustling city, is one of Leicester’s premier venues and will provide a stunning backdrop for the event.
Upon arrival, guests can expect to be welcomed by a Champagne reception providing a perfect opportunity to network, socialise and settle into the evening. Once Champagne has been sipped and introductions have been made, everyone will be escorted to their tables where a three-course dinner will be served which will showcase spring dishes made of fresh, seasonal ingredients.
While the networking opportunities are unrivalled, the main cause of the night is to of course commend and reward the businesses that are the linchpin of the city. The awards will see representatives from some of the region’s business elite whether it be top law firms or thriving retail stores.
