"It is an enormous privilege for my team and I to be supporting such a high-profile event such as the Leicester Mercury Business Awards. We strongly believe that our best companies deserve real recognition and these awards are the perfect way to go about it. Not only will the awards throw a spotlight on the many and varied business achievements we see in Leicestershire but, as a great opportunity to forge new relationships and exchange ideas, they will also help bind together our local business community. Receiving recognition and congratulating our peers for their hard work and outstanding achievement is integral to the business community in Leicester."
As one of the country’s most vibrant cities, Leicester’s business community continues to thrive. Janine highlighted the benefits the business awards bring to the region and how they help pave the way for future businesses and entrepreneurs. "There is much to be learnt from successful companies across Leicestershire, and, by celebrating their accomplishments we will incentivise others to follow in their footsteps."
She continued: "We see these awards as a wonderful opportunity to encourage a strong, tightly knit business community that works in the interests of everybody. Collectively, local businesses have shown fantastic resilience in recent years and our most successful companies serve as examples to us all as the environment improves. For that they deserve all the recognition they can get."
Finalists at the event will be treated with a Champagne reception upon arrival before enjoying a delicious three-course meal. Following this, category sponsors will then take to the stage to begin presenting the awards to the deserving winners.
As well as celebrating the success of the region’s business world, the awards also provide the opportunity to raise much needed funds for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.
