Eileen Richards Recruitment are the event partner at this year’s Leicester Mercury Business Awards, and as a company that are based in the heart of Leicester, they understand the importance of contributing to the region’s business community. The company’s owner, Eileen Richards, gave an insight into what positive contributions her business makes to the region of Leicester. She said: “We focus our efforts on education and career enrichment. I am also a Board Member and Co-Chair of Women in Business for the East Midlands Chamber, and a mentor for young women in business.”
She continued: “The team are also immensely proud to support Hope Against Cancer, a local Leicestershire charity. As a trustee for Hope, alongside Pick Everard's Duncan Green we established 'Hope Through Business' which is a member-only club that encourages businesses across Leicestershire and Rutland to raise £1500 annually for the charity. Alongside this, we are also on the committee for Wooden Spoon, a children's charity that helps to transform the lives of young people with a disability or facing disadvantage across the UK.”
The future looks bright for Eileen Richards Recruitment and Eileen outlined her aims for 2018. “We will be five years old on 1st September, so this is a truly exciting year for us. Our excellent reputation and refreshing approach to the recruitment industry has enabled us to also grow as a business. We will continue to increase our headcount and also expand our specialist sectors such as Construction, Executive appointments including Non-Executives.”
