Ventola Projects Ltd has been a key supporter of the annual Leicester Mercury Business Awards for many years, and 2019 is no different as they reprise their association as a category sponsor.
The company, who are specialists in electrical contracting, LED lighting, shopfitting, building maintenance and much more, are teaming up with Michael Smith Switchgear to sponsor and support applicants within the SME Business of the Year Award.
This is the fifth year Ventola has put their name to the category which praises the success of a business that employs no more than 75 full-time staff.
And, Mick Ventola who heads up the company as Managing Director feels strongly about his support of this award in particular.
“By sponsoring this award we are actively being involved in the success of like-minded individuals owning Small to Medium sized businesses.
“As an SME ourselves, we understand what pressures are involved in gaining community recognition. And, the awards are a tried and tested formula to bring great business awareness to those nominated.”
The Leicester Mercury Business Awards are not only a fantastic way for businesses to have their moment in the spotlight, but also presents an opportunity for sponsors and supporters to strengthen their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities and positively impact the business community. Something Mick is always keen to do.
“Ventola projects contributes in not only specialising in the services we provide for a wide number of business sectors within the local area, but also by utilising our great central location to supply our products and services throughout the UK and overseas.
“We have worked with local government representatives from the Department of International Trade who recognise the potential Leicester has allowing us to further expand our client base into the USA and Middle East in recent years as we always strive to use locally made products and utilise my team who are also locally based.”
Ventola are among one of the many names to have pledged their support for the business awards and on the night will be joined by other prominent sponsors including ITV, Pall-Ex, De Montfort University, Mazars and AXA PPP Healthcare to name just a few.
The awards campaign will reach its climax on Thursday 11 April 2019 when a black-tie awards ceremony will take place at Leicester City’s popular events’ venue, the Maher Centre.
