Mazars is the latest business to have been named in this year’s stellar line-up of sponsors as the Leicester Mercury Business Awards is set to return to the city on Thursday 11 April 2019.
The international business advisory firm, which has a local office based in Leicester, recently announced it was thrilled to be headlining the upcoming award ceremony alongside others including ITV and De Montfort University.
Now, the company, who specialise in audit, tax and business advisory services across a range of markets and sectors, has confirmed it will also be generously supporting the Customer Service Excellence Award.
Bob Johnson, the Leicester Office Managing Partner at Mazars described the annual award ceremony as “pivotal to the prosperity of the wider community” as he proudly commented on their involvement with the category.
The category praises a business whose day-to-day operations revolve around customer service and Bob hopes through Mazars’ sponsorship that this excellence will continue to shine through in Leicestershire.
“We are keen to promote the great businesses and people that we have in Leicestershire and the work that they do.
“As one of those Leicestershire businesses ourselves, we know that the way in which you do what you do is fundamentally why customers keep on returning – that is customer service.
“It is important that the great companies in our county continue to attract, engage with, and retain great customers from all over the world. Accordingly, we should recognise and celebrate their efforts and achievements and the Awards event is a great way to do this.”
Mazars is an international company offering skills beyond the reach of most regional firms and has the international structure to leverage from their global talent pool in over 77 countries.
Despite its global presence the company sees great importance in being a positive part of the regional business communities in which they operate. And, closer to home in Leicestershire, there are a number of ways in which Mazars’ Leicester team support localised business schemes and initiatives.
“We are a fast-growing business offering outstanding training, employment and career development opportunities from within a local office in the heart of the business community” Bob highlights.
“This underpins our overall commitment to the Leicestershire marketplace, which is further evidenced by the support we give to our clients, the transactional activity we help to create and deliver, the time and effort we spend supporting local business initiatives as well as our patronage of a number of local charities such as AGE UK Leicestershire and Rutland, Rainbows Children’s Hospice and LOROS in particular.”
Representatives from Mazars will be joining the hundreds of esteemed guests and finalists at this year’s Leicester Mercury Business Awards on Thursday 11 April which takes place at the Maher Centre.
