This year’s Leicester Mercury Business Awards’ sponsorship line-up has two exciting additions in the form of The Turnaround CEO and Dalycom.
The two Leicestershire businesses are at the top of their game and have chosen to join forces by sponsoring the Professional Services Award together.
Dalycom is spearheaded by Chairman Matthew Daly and is one of the region’s leading providers of unified business communications and IT solutions.
Working with a range of businesses from single to multi-site operations, the company seek to improve customer experience, increase productivity and ensure the backbone of all businesses works as efficiently as possible.
The Turnaround CEO (TTCEO) is led by sales and leadership expert, Amanda Daly, who works alongside business leaders to help them realise and reach their potential, and that of their staff.
By focusing on improving sales, internal systems, empowering teams and allowing leaders the necessary time to grow their business as well as having time for themselves, TTCEO puts energy back into any business.
The Professional Services Awards covers a wide range of service industries such as legal, financial, retail and hospitality. The award will go to one stand-out business which has demonstrated business growth, innovation and training of its staff over the past 12 months.
When asked for the reasons why Dalycom is sponsoring the award, Matthew said:
“We have been working with businesses in Leicester for over 30 years and are proud to be part of a local, thriving business community. Sponsoring this category allows us to support local businesses that also strive for excellence in innovation and technology, all of which is synonymous with Dalycom. This category celebrates the best of a growing industry, locally.”
Amanda added the ways in which this category, and its entrants, align perfectly with her own business model:
“Business growth, training and personal development, service excellence are all areas of business that I encourage, nurture and aim to develop with the TTCEO.
“Knowing how difficult it is to take time and grow a business, from the multitude of challenges and pressures faced by leaders through to time to invest in and on a business, this award is the ideal opportunity to reward those who have fought the battle and come out winning.”
Dalycom has been a part of Leicestershire’s business makeup for 33 years and in that time has become a crucial asset to the local business community.
“Our core client base is from the region and our solutions are specifically designed to help enable businesses to succeed” Matthew said.
“We take the pressure off IT and telecoms allowing teams and leaders to continue focusing on their business.
“In addition, we hold regular, monthly networking events that bring together a range of businesses and professionals, providing them with the opportunity and platform to share ideas, concerns and news, all of which helps the local community thrive.”
TTCEO is now in its third year, and since Amanda established it in 2016, she has been committed to being seen in the community. She said:
“The very nature of my business is to help other businesses succeed. My aim is to grow teams, develop skills and eradicate waste in business processes and systems, allowing business leaders to focus on growth.
“I am part of the local business community and regularly meet with other owners to help share work and build lasting relationships, all of which helps the community to divulge experiences and insight.”
